As usual I delivered myself to the NOPI nationals late as always on Sunday 4PM, knowing very well that it is the last day of the show and it ends at 8PM - what a procrastinator, so I pretty much had 2 hours to browse the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Undoubtedly, it turned out to be fun after my scrunciniating 2 hours drive to the speedway and with the irreversible thought in my head that I do have another 2 hours drive home, I was definitely up for some fun.
Driving my supped up mazda3 from Mazda "obvious", I started my drulling moment by checking out the cobalt test drive. Its amazing as hot as the mz3 is, Mazda doesn't do much for it fans. I'll love to see mz3's lined up for test drives just like the cobalt's. Don't get me wrong, the cobalt supercharge is one hot and flame throwing ride, if only they had launched earlier before the MZ3 - I do love my MZ3.
Anyway, I check out NOPI every year for a few reasons: 1) Looking for new Mazda3 mod's, 2) Cool Cars, 3) Bikini contest, 4) Drifting, 5) For the love of speed. I did get to experience it all during my 2 agonizing rush hours that I was there, I knew I was late and I knew I had to get going before everyone starts shutting down by 6PM.
What a wonderful experience, if you are a car enthusiast, you need to check out the NOPI nationals yearly. I just hope that Mazda represents next year, it sucks not to see a line of MZ3's. One of these days i'll find time to post pics of my MZ3.
Note: This is a late post and secondly I found out that Mazda has a ZoomZoom Live which was a few days after Nopi - that explains why there wasn't much Mazda's at Nopi.
