Stop trying to meet standards, not only because its a pain but its almost impossible and time wasting. If we spend too much time trying to meet it all, time will not be on our side. Sometimes its best to seek functionality and completion instead of compliance. Your users do not care and probably will never care about your perfect css, or perfect xhtml.
